New Print Series Available - Impressions Of Spain
A new collection of my prints called Impressions of Spain are now available on my Fine Art America store. These are photographs, but as the name implies, are presented with 'impressionistic' paint effects making them look more like paintings than photographs. The collection currently has about 20 images, mostly from Seville and a few from Valencia, but the collection is a work in progress and more will be added during 2019.
An example from the collection is shown left, this is the Plaza de Espana in Maria Luisa Park, built in 1928 for the Ibero-American Exposition of 1929, and designed by architect Anibal Gonzalez. Luckily, I happened to visit when some nice dramatic late afternoon light was falling on the building, making it look ideal for photography. The paint effects displayed on the images are more easily seen on larger versions, but the paint brush effects can clearly be seen in the sky areas on the image above. If you would like to see whats currently available in the collection, simply click here, and a new web page will open displaying the collection. Thanks for looking.
